On Saturday 26 October, Blacktown Arts is hosting an immersive electronic music event called SOFT PEDAL. Blacktown Arts invites audiences to experience new music, sounds and sensations by five highly acclaimed local artists.

The Good Woman, an emotive and raw play written by Maryam Zahid and Robert Colman. The play was very special; it was as if we were invited into a secret hiding place where the most vulnerable stories of the featured Afghan women were stored.

The video for her latest single 2142 pays homage to the trials and triumphs of life in the West, all while dealing with recurring stereotypes in an authentic fashion. Atop a heavy, boom-bap influenced track, A.GIRL provides a perfect visual accompaniment for her love letter to Granville.
