You read it right - up and coming artist XNYWOLF first showcased his DJ skills at Trill Sydney, where the crowd went crazy for his ability to add new flavour to the club scene - and it hasn’t taken him long to impress the whole of Sydney. Now, XNYWOLF is one of Sydney’s hottest and most unique DJ’s.

His Latin inspired sounds have respectively come from his South American family background, and if you’ve heard his sound, you would feel the love and passion that Latin music liberates.

He currently curates at Sauti Systems, Trill Sydney, Butter Sydney, Cliff Dive, World Bar, Chinese Laundry, and can also be seen associating with one off pop-up and private artist based events. You may have heard his mixes on Shantan Ichiban’s The Kick On (Triple J)

XNYWOLF is releasing his very first nine track flip tape on Wednesday 9 October, which will be available on SoundCloud. He has already teased his collection with single track XANDHI PT.II.

‘The track is derived from Kanye’s most recent Sunday Service video - where he flipped a classic house record which was crazy,” XNYWOLF told The Western.

‘I wanted to recreate that feeling and add my own flavour to it - with a new sound I’ve been working on, which heavily involves percussions and bass line drums.’ he says with passion.

He really goes all in on this tape by sprinkling hip hop trap with baile funk and international afro vibes. He conjures up a nostalgic, soulful, and energetic experience. XNYWOLF is influenced by other creative artists such as Sango and Cashmere Cat, and through his influences, his own creative flow has sprouted into ‘adventurous’ song selections and smooth transitions that speak volumes.

Make sure to give his tape a listen! Who knows? You may hear some of your favourite anthems and artists in a new way.
