Switch brings energy to Wespoint
The atmosphere was truly transformed at Westpoint, Blacktown. Performances were held on level 4 by a youth organisation called Switch. Collective performers came together to showcase their grooves and moves, raps to beats supported with a live performance of recently launched single 'Point of View' by Western Sydney artist Clarissa Mei. Switch's youth mentors were proud to present their talented young artists to the audience. The crowd couldn't get enough of the dances, the energy was contagious. You definitely don’t want to miss out on the next showcase!
SWITCH holds collective youth engagement programs in order to engage young people through the vehicle of creativity. They provide young people with a free and inclusive environment where they get mentored and supported for their creative goals. Whether that's urban dance, basic foundations, different styles of dance, or songwriting, vocal lessons, performance techniques or even rap, SWITCH is here for creating more young talented leaders for a better community tomorrow. In these programs, young participants get involved in putting creative pieces together so they have an opportunity to showcase their talents. Check out more upcoming events on their facebook page @SWITCH or even join a class.
