Has the cold ISO weather gotten to you lately too? Then we suggest you let new duo Marneaux - made up of twins Moses and Arona - warm you up with their debut single Can You Feel It.

Within the first ten seconds of the song, you’re thrown back into memories of summer time and good vibes hanging with your mates.

Each layer, verse, and chorus has its own subtle flavour, whether it be claps, techno build-ups, or a walking bass - we’re living for it.

Not to mention the unforgettable, almost country, twang in the tones of Moses and Arona’s vocals - which just brings it home.

This track is different, and you can’t anticipate what each second will sound like. It’s exciting and fresh, exactly how you want to feel with music.

For a debut single, these two are off to a great start.

Through email (we know, we prefer face-to-face), the boys let us in on the deeper meaning behind it.

‘This dynamic single proclaims that no matter what age, gender, event in life you find yourself, if you’re embracing it and feeling it fully, you can’t fail.’

Their inspirations derive from artists such as Bluejuice, MGMT, Art vs Science, Midnight Juggernauts, Cut Copy, The Presets, and PNAU

For the Samoan brothers, growing up in Western Sydney has been full of character, life, and opportunities for them. They have been singing from the age of six, and the two note their humble beginnings at church every Sunday. They have performed at the Rock Eisteddfod at school, and have represented the West for the Governor General at the Penrith Conservatorium of Music. ‘The community was always supportive, friends and family were always encouraging. A lot of people are yet to be recognised in the community.’

They haven’t enclosed themselves into one genre of music, which is fascinating considering the main genres they were surrounded by growing up were Hip-Hop, Reggae and Classic Rock.

‘We embrace everything ranging from Rock to Pop. So expect to see our future releases to be like a box of assorted chocolates, some sweet, some crunchy, some delicate yet satisfying.’

‘Our encouragement to anyone who is embarking on chasing their dreams! Don’t wait, just do it!’ they exclaim. These boys are authentic and full of flavour. They’ve taken their own route and are paving their own way to a successful music career.

Check out the music video below, premiering right here on The Western. Special shoutout to the dancers - Breanna, Abigail, Kearn, and Jaime in the music video from DARG ENTERTAINMENT.
