[MV REVIEW] JAECY - LOVE ME OR NOT
Jaecy’s latest single LOVE ME OR NOT was released on Youtube on Wednesday, 13 May. The highly anticipated release definitely matched the hype - it was an immediate hit. Not just a hit, but a vibe.
For this one, the team came together to produce an old school guitar string clang mixed with a very retro music video with three clones of Jaecy. We have DJ Sefru, Aaron Bull, Kristopher Molina, and Sueno to thank for that.

Jaecy switched up the scene and the tempo of the song with this release. He went solo for this video, aside from Rachel Jose’s awesome cameo, and just like the above comment, he adapted a retro Rage TV styled music video.
Lionel Nogueiro, Jaecy’s manager, commented on the video by saying ‘we wanted to hit this with a very different approach. We want to start treating music as art, not just sonically but visually too. Honestly just giving people a breath of fresh air. It’s a concept that’s unheard of. ’
‘We’re basically a young millennial kid from the area and throwing him back into a late 90s vibe.’
This song gets you moving in a different way - Jaecy basically searches for clarification between his love life and his life in the streets. You find yourself moving your shoulders and hips to the eccentric beat, and even though it may seem unorthodox in terms of Jaecy’s style/topic (we can all be honest here), it totally works.
Let’s face it, Jaecy is somewhat of a macho man. He’s tall with a big build and to put him into an Austin Power’s persuasion was such a crazy idea from the team’s end - so crazy that it worked. I’m sure half of his viewers were laughing while the other half were thinking ‘What is happening?’ but I’m sure all of the viewers were entertained.
