Western Sydney - Bushfire Relief

The Australian Bushfires have left the whole nation in shock, and as many still rage on, we must continue to give our support in whatever way we can. Comedian Celeste Barber, alongside many others, have paved the way by raising an incredible amount for the Trustee for NSW Rural Fire Service & Brigades Donations Fund. Thousands of Australian wildlife and communities have been deeply affected, and sadly, a few lives have been lost. As a media hub, we have the responsibility to relay as much awareness as possible. To show our support, many Western Sydney collectives are hosting a couple of fundraisers.

The Hustle Society hosted a 3v3 Basketball comp ‘Make It Rain’ on Friday, 24th of January. With a huge turnout and 10 teams registering just shows the communities passion to support and help those affected. Our very own Ian the DJ played tracks throughout, it was an awesome event. Our basketball community was able to show their support through the love of the game, and in under four hours, they were able to raise $900 dollars.
