New music straight out of South West Sydney, Soul Food Orchestra released In Motion back in February, and its clip - the band’s very first music video - is premiering right here on The Western.
The name Soul Food Orchestra suggests a fusion of hip-hop, soul, and jazz. The group formed in 2014 and came together with a vision to create and establish a creative community within Western Sydney. In Motion is one of many releases planned for 2020.
The track was written and recorded late last year at Beat Kitchen. The video was inspired by director Wong Kar-Wai, and portrays the gentrification of the city and the ever expanding growth of the Western suburbs.
